Apple has updated iOS to version 6.1.4. The latest version of the software is intended to address issues related to the audio profile for speakerphone. It is specifically targeted to the iPhone 5 as no other platforms currently have this issue. iOS can be updated through the General tab on your Settings for your iPhone.
