Kansasfest 2019 Registration Opens

John Brooks and Brian Wiser have completed the full manual for the VidHD, a feature-rich HDMI video card for the Apple II made by Blue Shift Inc. Additionally, John selected A.P.P.L.E. as the official host for the manual and future firmware updates. Apple Takes Down Facetime Due to Bug

A bug in Facetime which allowed users to listen in on their contacts without the contact answering a call forced Apple, Inc. into firefighting mode today. Facetime Group Conferencing was taken offline and according to the status website is still offline. (https://www.apple.com/ca/support/systemstatus/) As of 12pm EST 31 January 2019, the Group feature of the app still was down.

Applewin Emulator Updated

The Applewin Apple II Emulator has been updated.   Version 1.27.13.0 was released with two main changes within the program.  They include: “[Bug #599] Fix for Ultima V not loading in Authentic Speed mode (regression introduced at 1.27.9.0).
