The pop up in the free version that says Buy or Download for the paid version is there and pops up prior to allowing the user to play the game. Also, the fact that the game requires your Apple ID to be logged in does not sit well with me with any app. I am not sure what you are talking about but the ads for the game's self promotion do exist. It also ties in just a little too close to Facebook for my comfort. When I play a pinball game, I like it to be just me if I like. If I choose to share it with the world, that should be my prerogative without having to be reminded of it all the time. The free version also has a scoring limit, popping up a quit table message right in the middle of a game. I believe that limit is 3,000,000 points based on my experience with the game. This is one of the bigger annoyances and quite frankly is one reason I did not rate this game more than 1 Apple. If they allowed the user to complete the game and then popped up the message, then it would be acceptable in my book. The other is the flippers are sluggish and take so much getting used to that it could be frustrating to the average user. Actually, there are.
