Is your iCloud suddenly in China?

When Apple decided to move all of its China Based iCloud accounts to a chinese based partner company, Guizhou-Cloud Big Data (GCBD) , which is run by the local government, it also swept up a number of accounts which were US based.   According to TechCrunch, this number is low but all the same is quite unalarming to Apple, Inc. who just meekly points to the terms of service as the basis for this overreach by the transfer of accounts.

iWork.com to be closed as Apple Centers Focus on iCloud

Apple, Inc. is closing the iWork.com public beta site.  They are telling users to log in to the site and download all of their documents prior to July 31st, 2012.  Apple is touting the fact that there are “already 40 million documents stored on iCloud by millions of iWork customers“. The iWork service was started in 2009 to much fanfare but has become more of an after thought with the iCloud service being Apple’s new focal point. iOS 5 Release Coming Soon — iPhone update servers down

It appears that the iPhone update server is now down in preparation for the iOS 5 release.  The iOS 5 release which is expected here just two days prior to the release of Apple, Inc.’s release of their latest iPhone, the iPhone 4S, integrates all of the features of iCloud another new release product being touted by Apple.
