BMOW Announces Mac Sync-inator VGA Converter

Karateka Classic updated for iOS 11

Publisher DotEmu has finally updated Karateka Classic to support iOS 11.  I’ve found it to be one of the more enjoyable ports and am very glad to have this Apple II game working again.  Speaking of DotEmu and their Mac / iOS games, they’ve also done very nice ports of the popular action/adventure Another World and Jordan Mechner’s adventure The Last Express.  Raiden Legacy and R-Type are also excellent, classic shooters.

Dagen Brock Releases Buckshot Multiplatform!

Buckshot is a free to use, open-source image conversion utility for Windows, Mac OSX and Linux. It is based on a command-line image conversion tool called “bmp2dhr”. It’s mostly a toy to play around with, as it doesn’t support all features available in bmp2dhr, but it works well and is fun for checking out possible conversions. Get Buckshot

The Mac Gui software repository has added over 700 new files to their library.  According to the site’s owner and curator, David Finnigan in CSA2, Of particular note are the files in the CP/M category; these came from a disk collection that I bought last year.
