A United Kingdom court ordered Apple to post an apology to Samsung for claiming that Samsung copied Apple’s iPad. Apple did follow the order but in the usual “Really?” type issuance, the posted apology reads more like a swift kick to the head of Samsung and the UK court system. Apple has lost an appeal to have Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet banned from The Netherlands.  The dutch court tossed the appeal from Apple, giving the lower court the final say on the matter.  This decision comes just days after Samsung lost a minor ruling in German courts. Source: Reuters

A story this morning mentioned that Apple will be producing their A5 iPhone CPU in a new factory in Texas.  This would not normally raise any eyebrows outside of the fact that Samsung is the company running the factory.
