In 2002, Call-A.P.P.L.E. Magazine was re-started under the guidance of Val J. Golding, the founder of A.P.P.L.E. Driven in part by A.P.P.L.E. president Bill Martens, many of the original members and leadership of the group contributed to the effort to bring back the best magazine of the 1980’s, and continued production until 2011.
The content of the magazine was a mixture of the retro Apple computing items as well as the more modern G4/G5 series machines and OS X including the initial forays by Apple, Inc. into the UNIX realm.
Production of the magazine was managed by Bill martens during this time frame with a number of milestones being met including the 30th anniversary issue published in 2008.
