The A.P.P.L.E. Co-Op was reaching 49,000 members and two stores along with production offices that were bursting at the seams.  While the diversification of the group had lost some customers who wanted it to remain only Apple centric, it had gained it hordes of new followers.  But it also had the adverse effect of making it difficult to keep up with support issues the way the old group did.

The diversity of the computers being supported caused the hiring process to go way out of wack with what the group really needed.
