John morris has announced the release of the latest update to the Client Software for the Applesauce Floppy Disk Controller. The latest version, 13 July 2026 – Release 2.08 includes the following updates and changes:
- Apple II DOS was incorrectly coloring free sectors when viewing the file system disk map.
- Automatic firmware update notification was broken for very old firmware versions.
- The fast imager had an edge case bug where it could truncate already imaged tracks when dealing with inner tracks where it could not detect any sign of sectors. Fixed.
