This particular Apple II version of Colossal Cave Adventure, officially titled Adventure ]I[, holds a unique place in the legacy of early home computer gaming. It was originally distributed as the sole content of disk number 142 in the A.P.P.L.E. and Apple Avocation Alliance’s Public Domain Software (PDS) library.
