This is an adventure based on a well known fairy tale. The original version of Jack and the Beanstalk’s author was well known in many computer journals as a writer of a number interesting programs also wrote for CPC464 User. This version for the Apple II is a full on port of the game written by Bill Martens and includes both the emulator ready disk image and the complete PDF manual
The excellent program commentary’ is an object lesson to all you lot who have us scratching our heads trying to work our what’s where, and who’s who in some of the more inscrutable offerings that grace these pages.
The adventure is a complicated on but is quite solvable. If you want to solve the adventure without help, go play the game prior to reading past the Plot in this Users Guide.
The manual is a combination of existing documentation, new materials created specifically for the Apple II version and some items from other authors.
