Apple’s Network Time Security Update

A critical Network Time Protocol issue has been patched by Apple, and is available for OS 10.8 through 10.10.1 via the Mac App Store.  While most Apple updates are user option installable, this particular update is being pushed out by Apple automatically in order to prevent machines from being hi-jacked by hackers.  If you have not seen a notification on your screen, you can install it from the App Store.

Gold Master Candidate Releases of Yosemite and XCode Bring Apple Asking for App Submissions

Apple Releases Mac OS X Yosemite DP7

Apple has released  another Developer Preview version of their latest version of Mac OS X 10.10.  As they ramp up for release, there are several items in this preview which reflect the direction Apple is taking with the desktop including  a number of updated icons in both the System Preferences and the Applications / utilities directories. Apple Releases Mac OS 10.9.3

Apple has released a new version of the operating system for Intel based Macs.  Mac OS X 10.9.3 increases apple’s support of 4K devices.  Restoration of the USB syncing of Calendars and Contacts is also included in this update.  Also Apple has attempted to imporve the reliability of connections via VPN that use IPsec. AppleCommander, the java based floppy viewing software has been updated.  Dr. John B.
