Virtual II updated to version 11.4

Gerard Putter, the developer behind the widely popular MAC OS based Virtual II emulator, has unveiled the latest version of the application, Virtual II Version 11.4. This new update introduces exciting features and improvements that enhance the user experience for Apple II enthusiasts.  Virtual II is a full featured shareware Apple II emulator that includes a number of capabilities not found in other emulators.

One of the significant additions in Virtual II Version 11.4 is the emulation of the Applied Engineering RamFactor card. The RamFactor card serves as a RAM disk and provides additional memory for compatible programs such as AppleWorks. With this emulation, Virtual II users can now experience the full functionality of the RamFactor card within the emulator, further expanding the capabilities of their emulated virtual Apple II systems.

Additionally, Virtual II Version 11.4 brings a minor but noteworthy enhancement to the “print to clipboard” feature. Previously, the print feature continued to capture content indefinitely, potentially causing issues when pasting the printed content elsewhere. However, with the latest update, the “print to clipboard” feature now intelligently stops capturing content once it has been successfully copied, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free experience for users when pasting the printed material.

To access the latest version of Virtual II, users can visit the official website at www.virtualii.com. The website provides a dedicated download section where users can find the update and install it on their systems. As Virtual II continues to evolve and improve, Gerard Putter’s website serves as a valuable resource for Apple II enthusiasts, offering the latest updates, additional documentation, and support for the emulator.
