Author
Raphael Oliveira de Rezende – a programmer who recently began programming the Apple II in assembly language. Space Intruder is one of his first full-fledged Apple II arcade-style games. Having authored a number of games for the Apple II in BASIC over the past several years as part of the Facebook “Apple II Software Enthusiasts Group” challenges, this is the first game he produced that is purely in assembly language and harkens back to games of the 1980s. Raphael is Brazilian, a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, and works as a state public servant and a software developer (Delphi/RAD Studio) for retail companies. An Apple II computer lover, he bought his first Apple II in 1985. Now, a childhood dream is coming true, which is to program using assembly language – especially for game development. He has two Apple II computers, a IIe and IIc.
