Brutal Deluxe Software has announced that their version of The City of Alzan, originally a ZX-81 game, for the Apple II series computers.

What is The City of Alzan?
The plot takes place in a fictitious city named Alzan, which is built on top of the sea cliffs, and is inhabited by thieves and cut-throats.
Your quest is to find a way out of the city before they grab you, or before the plague takes hold of you.
Unfortunately, the city is surrounded by extremely high walls, and so you must find a way to scale them.
We started the game in 2023 and forgot about it until recently. We decided to finish it and there it is.
The game runs under ProDOS on any 64K Apple II computer.
The City of Alzan is part of the great book “The ZX81 Pocket Book” which was written by Trevor Toms.
