CiderPress II v2.0.0-dev1 Announced

The latest development release of the CiderPress II package has been released. According to the release notes, This is a development snapshot pre-release. It may be mildly unstable. Unless you need a feature or bug fix introduced here, we recommend downloading the latest stable release instead.

Some of the changes included since v1.2.0 are as follows:

  • Minor fixes.
  • Added new Avalonia GUI app, which runs on Windows+Linux+macOS [@LydianScaleSoftware].
  • Renamed WPF-based GUI app to CiderPress2_wpf.exe.
  • Updated all projects to use .NET 10.
  • Fixed formatting of GCR 3.5″ disks in WOZ/MOOF (#72).

CiderPress II is a software tool for working with disk images and file archives associated with vintage Apple computers, notably the Apple II line and early Macintoshes. It runs on modern desktop and embedded systems. The program is available as a free download from the CiderPress GitHub page at:
