Apple Founding Document Sells for 1.6 Million USD

The document of incorporation of Apple Computer Inc, from 1976, has been sold at auction for nearly $1.6 Million USD.   The document which was originally held by founding member Ron Wayne, was sold in 1994 to US Businessman, Wad Saadi for several thousand dollars.  The new owner of the document, Eduardo Cisneros, a US Television Exec (CEO of Cisneros Corp) and muscle car enthusiast, said about the purchase of the document in a tweet, “Very happy to own a piece of American ( World) history!

The document was expected to draw a high price in the Sotheby’s run auction but nothing like the $1,594,500 USD that it eventually fetched.  The document contains the names and signatures of Steve Wozniak, the creator of the Apple Computer, Former CEO and Chairman, Steve Jobs, and original founding member Ron Wayne.
