ReActiveMicro and Ultimate Apple2 Announce Effort to Continue Garage Giveaway

Henry Courbis of Reactive Micro and Anthony Smith of Ultimate Apple2 have announced an effort to continue the tradition of the KansasFest Garage Giveaway which has been the brainchild of Sean Fahey and James Littlejohn until now.  According to the email from Henry,

As announced previously, this is unfortunately the last year of the Garage Give Away.  We all owe Sean and James our gratitude for their past efforts and the great memories.  Thanks from one and all you two!
On Wednesday Anthony from UltimateApple2 and Henry from ReActiveMicro announced they would take the sad news and work towards continuing the KFEST tradition.  More details will be announced in the coming weeks.
Tonight is the last night before the leftover items are packed up.  If you want something, NOW is the time.  Anthony and I plan to start fresh next year.  Any orphaned books and equipment will not be coming back.
As is also tradition, those who took items are asked to help with packing and throwing out what is left over.  Sean and James need a well deserved break, so please see Henry after the pizza party to do your part and help make things a quick and tidy clean up.  If you don’t do your part the ghost of KFEST Past will come and corrupt your floppies while you sleep tonight. 🙂
