Description
The archive contains a completely operational copy of SMART DICE for the Apple II Series computers in both DSK and WOZ disk image formats.
It also contains the complete manual for the program.
On the surface, the program plays challenging games of both BOSS dice and LIARS dice. Internally, however, the play is governed by a rule set and an efficient embedded rule engine. This approach is taken from expert system concepts in artificial intelligence. A player may interrupt play at any point and converse with the rule engine.
The computer learns the opponent’s thinking. The longer you play, the more the computer exploits your style. Even if you change your style there are aspects of your strategy that you may not be aware of to change.
The play is based on the book, “World’s Best Dice Games” by Gil Jacobs.
