Henry Lowe, the programmer of Card Cat, has announced that version 1.1 is now available for download. The program is a machine card identifying program that runs on the Apple II computer.
This update includes:
- Additional firmware-based cards added to the Card Cat database
- Detection of MockingBoard cards
- Improved detection of Z80 cards
- RAMFactor cards now display card RAM (currently only in slot 4,5,6)
- Detection of Apple II Clones (Franklin Ace 500, Ace 1000, Laser-128)
- Fixed several under-the-hood bugs
This program has been tested on Apple II emulators as well as actual Apple II machines as well as clones and should work in just about any Apple II environment you are working in.
If Card Cat finds a card with a signature but cannot identify the card on your Apple II, Henry asks that you please send the signature of the card and the card’s name and type to him at: cardcat@henrylowe.net
