Our open source project “Grappler Minus” has been completed. I was able to check the latest PCB, and new ROM revision V6a so I made a new post.
The difference with Grappler Plus is that the printer interface function is removed. As a result, SPIISD can now be used on Apple IIplus, which was previously unavailable due to timing issues.

In the new PCB version, all multilayer ceramic capacitors have been changed to dip type to make it easier to solder with your home brew…

I get asked this question all the time, so I’ll first explain a little bit about what this feature is:
This card is inserted into connector #5 and used in combination with the DISK][controller card placed in #6. To enable this, first turn on the power and press CTRL+RST. Next, enter “PR#5” and press the Return key to use the device connected via the Disk][card (SPIISD, etc.) in #6 in Smartport mode.
*The new features from the new ROM revision V6a can be installed in any expansion slot (Always install the DiskII interface card in #6 as before). In that case, specify the number of the installed socket. Example: For number 3 slot, use “PR#3”.
Wing Yeung gave us permission to use the ROM, and then luckily we were given a new ROM, he named “V6-a”, which is not the normal V6 ROM.
