February 1978 Meeting
Date: 21 February 1978
Location: Computerland Federal Way
We met at Computerland in Federal Way, and Val Golding called us to order at 7:05 PM.
A motion was approved to call ourselves A P.P.L.E., standing for Apple Pugetsound Program Library Exchange. Val was unanimously elected president and Mike Thyng was elected Secretary. Other duties will be shared between them. Informality was stressed in the meeting, in order to best follow the purposes of the group: to exchange information and programs.
A membership application fee of $2.00 was approved, and an annual rate will be determined at a later date, based on expense experience. Max Cook, owner of Computerland, volunteered to mail out our newsletter at no cost to the group. The meeting was adjourned and the balance of the evening was in fact devoted to answering questions and trading tapes.
A. P. P. L. E. was “Up and Running”!
