CUI Errors in Some Users Upgrade to Mac OS X 10.7.3

Many users are reporting that they are experiencing some issues with the latest version of Mac OS X.  Apple, Inc. rolled out Mac OS X 10.7.3 yesterday and although most users had no issues, there were a good number who are experiencing a CUI Error with the upgrade. Apple Releases Airport Utility 6.0 for Mac OS X Lion

Apple has released an update to the Mac OS X Lion version of the Airport Utility.  Version 6.0 is now available for download from the Apple Support website. Mind Console Productions released a new screen saver this week which is a faithful rendition of the original Berkeley Systems After Dark screen saver module, Starry Night.  While similar in look and feel, the Mind Console version of the module was created completely from scratch.  This version of the program requires a minimum of Mac OS X 10.5. Adobe announced this morning that they are releasing their Photoshop Lightroom 4 Beta and that it will be free for users to download.  This latest update to the Lightroom application includes some new features specifically targeting the latest DSLR capabilities as well as the ability to create better quality photo books. Mini vMac 3.2.3 Released

The latest version of the Mini vMac emulator has been released.   The Paul Pratt managed project is now in version 3.2.3 of the emulator.  The Mini vMac emulator emulates a 128K Macintosh and runs on a variety of platforms including Mac OS X.   One requirement is that you have a 128K Macintosh ROM in file form.  The operating system on the other hand is little problem as Apple, Inc. has released all Apple OSes through 7.5.5 as freeware. The latest build of Mac OS X, Build 11D36 is the developer version of 10.7.3.  With this update arriving less than a week after the previous build, it is expected that a gold version will be available to developers within about month or so.   With the normal upgrade of Apple’s line of computing platforms in early 2012, it is suspected that Apple is trying to release 10.7.3 in time to coincide with the upgrade of the product line. The Mozilla project has released the latest version of their Firefox Browser.  Version 8.0.1 was released to address issues introduced in prior versions including: Fixed Mac OS X crash that occurred in certain instances when a Java Applet is loaded with Java SE 6 version 1.6.0_29 installed. Fixed Windows startup crash caused by RoboForm versions older than 7.6.2. iTunes 10.5.1 Released by Apple
