Author
John Snape — started using computers in high school, and learned enough that his uncle hired him to maintain his payroll mini-computer while John went to college in Los Angeles. He also worked in a print shop and did book layout and print runs when it was still a manual cut-and-paste process. Later in life, John became an Adobe Certified Instructor for Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and InDesign, in addition to spending 10 years doing corporate training. When the training circuit dried up, he started driving a paratransit bus and then driving an 18-wheeler across the United States. Lately, John simply does what interests him, whether that’s photography, videography, typeface design, laying out law books, or helping friends with their printing projects.
