Steve Jobs would have been 66 today, Wednesday, February 24th, 2021. Born in 1955, Steve Jobs passed away at the age of 56 after a long battle with Pancreatic Cancer. The co-founder of Apple, Inc. and the primary reason for the company’s resurgence in the late 1990’s and 2000’s was known for his dedicated to detail, quiet philanthropy, his dedication to pursuing the ultimate in computing integration as well as a sharp tongue and ability to take those of us…
Steven Paul Jobs, Co-Founder and visionary of Apple would have been 64 years old today. Jobs, along with Steve Wozniak, creator of the Apple-1 and Apple II computers, and Ron Wayne, the oft maligned and forgotten third partner started the company that most of us have come to know and whose products we all now use on a daily basis. While much has been written about Steve over the years both in the positive and the negative, yours truly has…
For a spell, the Steve Jobs Archive was the one go-to place on the web to get a good synopsis of the videos of Steve and the associated grouping. The site contains 43 categories of Steve Jobs’ life and the videos which contain that aspect. After the disappearance of the site, A.P.P.L.E. inquired and apparently the interest in Steve Jobs had waned to a point where the curator, Art Matsak, felt that it was no longer needed. However, Since said…

What they did not see was the reality that Steve was a giving person early and often. While Bill Gates has a public media blitz with every gift he has given to various causes over the…

In 1975, Paul Terrell, owner of The Byte Shop, famously bought 50 Apple-1’s from Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs. Of course, they had to build them first and with no money, Steve Jobs convinced companies to provide parts based on a 30 days payment plan using the promissory note from Paul Terrell. Most folks look at that event as the real event that started Apple. However, it was Paul who convinced the Apple guys to make the computer a real…

Ron Wayne is probably the least well known Apple, Inc. Co-Founder of the three men who created the now behemoth company. He had a 10% stake in the young company at it’s founding, however, he left the company, selling his stake for a total of $2300. The media has reported that he lost potentially billions of dollars in his leaving, however, he does not see it that way. According to Ron, “I didn’t lose out on billions of dollars.
