4.2 Million iPhones Sold by Verizon

During the fourth Quarter 2011, Verizon sold a total of 4.2 million units of the latest rendition of iPhone.   This number was more than double the number of units sold by Verizon during the third quarter.   While this is good news for both Apple and Verizon, the news has not particularly been good for the stock where their price is currently at $39.21o USD or down 1.309% for the day. Version 1.0.1 of Google Currents Released But has Issues

Google has released an update to their Google Currents application just a week after the introduction of the package.  Version 1.0.1 is intended to resolve some of the stability issues with the Application as well as to fix scrolling issues on older versions of iOS 4.   There are also some library issues that have been resolved. Apple has purchased the Israeli Flash Chip manufacturere, Anobit, according to a report in the Hebrew daily,  Calcalist(http://www.calcalist.co.il ).  The purchase, falling in line with Apple’s current path of owning as much of the manufacturing as possible, was accomplished with a price tag of $500 Million USD.  Anobit manufacturers a chip which speeds up flash memory and is already in most of Apple’s mobile devices including the iPhone and iPad.
