
Well, it is funny how a typo can creep into a code base but in the case of GBBS, it did. 1990 was the year and the last version of the GBBS code was put together complete with a mistyped return code for the Hayes Modem. We would never have discovered it if it were not for one of our members being a religious zealot when it comes to using real hardware (We say this with all due admiration). He found the bug and then looking at the code, I found the mistake and there we go. 36 years to fix a bug! And here is the new disks for ACOS GBBS 2.4.1d. Try it and let me know what you think.
P.S. if you downloaded 2.3 or 2.4, you will definitely want this updated disk set.
