The latest version of the ActiveGS Plugin has been Released. Version 3.5.762 was released to address and issue with the Chrome extension deployment. The C2T Binary Conversion program created by Egan Ford has now been officially released. The program was created out of the need for a tool to convert Apple II files and disk images to audio files. Gerard Puter has updated the Virtual ][ Emulator to version 6.4. The biggest change to the program is that this version of Virtual ][ will be the first version which is totally dedicated to the Apple Intel platform. Most of the changes and feature fixes in version 6.4 are oriented around moving totally to the Intel platform and getting the most out of its performance. The latest rendition of the SDL /MAME for MAC OS X has been updated. Version 0.144u6 was updated earlier this morning and as of yet, the change log has not been listed. In what Egan Ford is calling a completed release, the Apple ][ Game Server and the Apple ][ Disk Server have been updated. The updates included adjusting the speed to a slightly lower speed for transfers as the higher speeds initially listed as hi-fi were causing some issues and a higher rate of failure in the transfers between the Apple ][ and the PC. Egan Ford has updated his new Apple ][ Disk Server once again. The Apple ][ Disks Server allows the user to connect their audio port to the Apple ][‘s cassette i/o port and load complete disk images to the floppy drive. This process now takes less than three minutes according to a note from Egan. The ever popular iCade cabinet from ThinkGeek has been totally re-designed. The newest design loses the cabinet and is a sleek docking station along the lines of the Atari Arcade. The primary difference is the fact that this version will support landscape mode as well. The launch of the product is expected to be sometime during 2nd quarter 2012. Brenden Robert has updated his JACE Emulator (Java Apple Computer Emulator) Source code to revision 150 and has said that a new build is coming soon. The delay in the update was attributed to several bugs which were preventing a build from being submitted. The latest version of the Soviet era Agat computer emulator has been released. The Agat is an Apple ][ compatible computer which was developed in the Soviet Union and runs a good number of Apple ][ titles. Improvements in Version 1.22 are as follows: Implemented floppy drive controller for Acorn Atom system. Added support for extension ROMs for Acorn Atom. The concept of the server is that it allows you to reconstitute an entire floppy disk through the cassette input/output port of the Apple ][ computer. The latest version of the Mini vMac emulator has been released. The Paul Pratt managed project is now in version 3.2.3 of the emulator. The Mini vMac emulator emulates a 128K Macintosh and runs on a variety of platforms including Mac OS X. One requirement is that you have a 128K Macintosh ROM in file form.
