Updated Spectrum Manuals Available

A few weeks ago, Ewen Wannop, author of the premier telecommunications program for the Apple IIgs, Spectrum, announced that he had transitioned the program to freeware status. Apple IIgs programmer Ewen Wannop announced yesterday that he has decided to change the status of his commercial software to freeware. Speccies News Acquisition Program Update V.1.1 Released

Ewen Wannop has released an update to his Speccie’s News Acquisition Program or SNAP.  Version 1.1 features the ability to read Usenet and NNTP news on your Apple IIgs desktop as well as to post and reply to messages.  The configuration system in SNAP lets you “tailor your daily news fix.”.
