A.P.P.L.E. Chairman of the Board and Club president -- Bill worked for the founder, Val J. Golding and A.P.P.L.E. from 1981 to 1982. In 1999, he began archiving the materials which were distributed and sold by A.P.P.L.E.. That project led to the group that remained of A.P.P.L.E. Bill was involved in the financial industry in Tokyo and has over 20 major office infrastructure projects to his name. In March 2001, he retired to write books and to spend more time pursuing personal interests. As the president of the users group, Bill is in charge of distribution of Call-A.P.P.L.E. magazine as well as the organization of this web site. Bill currently resides in Tokyo, Japan and Shelton, Wa splitting time between the places.

B-Side Ending Theme for Apple II Lady Tut Posted

Antoine Vignau has posted a Youtube video of the missing B-Side ending for the Apple II game Lady Tut.  While many cracks of the game have appeared over the years, somehow they all missed Programe’s Ending to the game. Originally published in 1983, this is the first time the ending has been seen in the wild. Apple II to HDMI Video Output Experiment [Updated]

Peersoft Version 1.5.5 Applesoft Extension Released

Benoit Gilon has announced the immediate release of the Peersoft Applesoft Extensions version 1.5.5.  Shown extensively at the recent Apple II Festival France, this extension package allows for user defined functions to be added to Applesoft through both machine language and Applesoft.  What’s new? Ability to define up to 10 user defined functions. Such functions could handle up to 2 input arguments instead of just one. Source Code to TAXMAN to be Released

The source code to Taxman, one of the more popular Apple II games in the early 1980’s has been announced as being released very soon.   Hailed as the best Pac-Man clone available, Taxman plays nearly identical to the original Pac-Man. Silicium Association have announced a new game for the Apple II at the Apple II Festival France 2015 event.  The game, “Nono et La Pomme Arc-En-Cel” or “Nono and the Rainbow Apple” is an adventure game, currently available in French only, but soon to be translated to other languages. French Touch Releases New Apple IIe Demo

The French Touch has released a new graphics demo for the Apple IIe computer.  The demo, entitled “A Question of Frames”, was produced on an Apple IIe with 128K of RAM.   It will run on original hardware, the Apple IIgs, as well as the Applewin, Jace 2.0 and ActiveGS emulators. The 1960’s meets the Apple II

An interesting piece of video comes to us this morning from Antoine Vignau of Brutal Deluxe software.  It is a project by French Professor Max Tournarie, who decided he could attach a card reader to the Apple II Euro back in the 1980’s. Kansasfest 2015 Ends with Dates for 2016 Announced

Kansasfest 2015 has ended as one of the more successful gatherings in the past 20 years.  With 76 attendees, this event continues to prove that the Apple II computer is not dead and that there is a lot more life in those computers.
