Apple has apparently hired Todd Teresi, an Adobe Systems Inc Executive, to run their iAd section. The iAd section of Apple was created in 2010 to compete directly with Google’s Adsense and potentially could be a $4.4 Billion USD business within 3 years. Brutal Deluxe has added two more new titles to their Apple ][ Software Cassette collection. The collection which spans the years 1977 to 1982, contains 563 titles as of 3 January 2012. Apple Inc’s Italian division has been fined 900,000 Euros (1.2 Million USD) for failing to comply with Italian statutes regarding warranties on their products. Italian law requires manufacturers to provide a minimum of two years warranty on electronic products, yet Apple was only providing one year. Google has released an update to their Google Currents application just a week after the introduction of the package.
