Apple II Desktop Version 1.4 Alpha 6 has been released by Joshua Bell, the curator of the project. Updates to the latest Alpha include the following items:
General
- Improve appearance of buttons when clicked. c/o @buserror
DeskTop
- Click on menu bar clock now shows Date & Time DA.
Selector
- Prevent crash on IIc+ under ProDOS 2.4.3. (#789)
Desk Accessories
- Matrix: Show green-on-black text on IIgs.
- Options: Fix crash after running the DA. (#784)
- Sounds: Fix “Obnoxious” sounds to prevent crash. (#785)
- Image Preview: Packed Super Hi-Res PNT files ($C0/$0001) can be previewed on Apple IIgs.
- New Screen Saver: Helix.
- Text Preview: Align Proportional/Fixed text with window title. (#787)
- Electric Duet Preview: Detect Mockingboard and use for playback if found.
