Dragon’s Lair : Escape from Singe’s Castle For the Apple IIgs

Brutal Deluxe has released another Don Bluth software package, Dragon’s Lair : Escape from Singe’s Castle . The game is for the Apple IIgs and comes on either a single 6mb disk image or on eight 800k 3.5 inch floppy disk images. The source code for the game is also being released. La Crapule Source Code Now Available

Brutal Deluxe Software has made the original source code for the French adventure game, Le Manoir de la Crapule, available for download. Originally written in 2017 by Antoine Vignau and Olivier Zardini, the engine in the game is an 8-bit engine which upports 40/80-col modes, loads pics from 40-col to SHR, recognizes three words within a 100-char sentence, and can run in 48K. The documents, from 1985 through 1987 include a hose of items covering topics from Apple Talk to SANE Tools to the addition of the APDAlog France. The Apple II Cassette Repository Reaches 670 Tapes

Brutal Deluxe Software announces i’m fEDD up v2.2

Brutal Deluxe Software announces the maintenance release of i’m fEDD up, their copy/preservation utility program. Now at version 2.2, the program can export 5.25″ disk bitstreams in a .FDI file. If you own an Apple IIgs, the copy process runs in a single pass. A faster copy means more chance to reliably preserve track sync’ed titles.
