Applecommander 1.6.0 Released

Apple II Disk image data conversion program, Applecommander, has been updated. Version 1.6.0 includes some nifty new features including. New Firmware Available for Apple II BOOTi Card

There is a new version of the firmware for the Apple II BOOTi Card. Version 0.9K fixes a bug that was affecting users of the card on the Apple II Plus. The old version was causing a problem for users who did not have a disk image in the Virtual Slot 1 on the card. Chuck Peddle, the creator of the MOS Technology 6502 microprocessor has passed away at age 82. Peddle, originally on the Motorola team that developed the 6800 series chips, was determined to develop an inexpensive chip which did not cost $300 such as the Motorola 6809 did. Denis Molony has released a new version of the Apple II Diskbrowser. UniDOS support has been added to the latest release of the program, Diskbrowser version 1.42. Apple2ix Emulator Updated

Aaron Culliney has updated the release notes and source for version 2.1.0 of the Apple2ix Emulator for Android based devices. The emulator was developed originally to run on Android 4.0+ based devices also now runs on x86 and ARM Android devices, x64 macOS 10.9+, and x64 GNU/Linux. Improvements made in the emulator are related to the Joystick button functionality in the emulator.
