📦 Installation

  1. Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin in your WordPress admin
  2. Upload wp-linker-pro.zip and click Install Now
  3. Click Activate — the plugin creates its database and loads 529 sample links
  4. Add the shortcode to any page: [[wp_linker slug="apple-library"]]

⚙️ Admin Panel

The WP-Linker Pro admin panel is accessible from the WordPress sidebar menu:

  • Libraries — Create, edit, and delete link libraries. Set the display theme and shortcode slug.
  • Categories — Manage categories and sub-categories with emoji icons and sort order.
  • Links — Add, edit, search, and delete individual link entries with status tracking.
  • Import/Export — Bulk import from CSV/TSV files or export to CSV for backup.

📄 CSV Import Format

Your CSV or TSV file should have these columns (header row required):

Status,Category,Sub-Category,Site Name,Description,Website Blurb,URL

❓ FAQ

Can I have multiple libraries?
Yes! Each library has its own slug, shortcode, and theme setting.

What happens to data when I deactivate?
Your data is preserved. It is only deleted if you fully uninstall the plugin.

Is the pre-loaded Apple library required?
No. You can delete it and create your own libraries from scratch or via CSV import.
