Virtual II Emulator Updated

The Virtual II Emulator, an Apple II Emulator for Mac OS X, has been updated. Version 9.3.1 is an effort by the author of Virtual II to correct an issue that was introduced in the previous release, version 9.3. The bug could cause double high resolution screens to be rendered incorrectly during emulation. Diskbrowser 1.45 Released

Denis Molony has released an update to his Apple II Diskbrower program. Diskbrowser which was originally developed for Mac OS X also will run on Windows and Linux platforms with Java installed. Diskbrowser 1.45 introduces a few bug fixes including one which was causing the program to freeze on Mac OS X. Clock.Signal Emulator Updated

The Clock.Signal Emulator for Mac OS X, which emulates a host of platforms has been updated. Applesauce FDC Client Software Updated

Applesauce Floppy Disk Controller Client Software has been updated. Version 1.36 of Applesauce FDC includes the following improvements and fixes: Support for imaging/validating/exploring 3.5″ PC (FAT12) disks is now officially supported! Imaging these disk requires an Apple SuperDrive connected to your Applesauce. I know this isn’t Apple-related, but some folks really wanted me to get this together. Apple Announces the 2020 Rendition of WWDC

Apple has announced that the 31st rendidiotn of their World Wide Developer Conference will begin on June 22, 2020. This years event will be held in the digital realm and will begin with first ever Swift Student Challenge. All portions of the WWDC 2020 will occur online, however, further details are a bit spartan at this time. Is this for Real? Mac68K iPad

Two hearty Apple hobbyists, divingkatae and maximumspatium, are making a decent attempt at building a new Power PC Macintosh emulator. Fake Flash Update Issue

While many users may have been getting these fake Flash is Out Of Date messages, the trojan which is the most responsible for this is the Trojan-Downloader.OSX.Shlayer.a or the shlayer trojan as it is known. Apparently, the shlayer trojan is so prevalent that it accounts for almost 30% of all infections on MAC OS X. Kaspersky put out a breakdown of the entire package and code earlier this year.
