Davex for the Apple ][ now Available

The Apple ][ command shell, Davex is now available for download.  The shell written by famed Apple programmer Dave Lyons, is a pure command line shell for ProDOS 8. New Apple-1 Game, Codebreaker Available

Egan Ford has created a new game for the Apple-1 computer.  The game, Codebreaker, is based upon the old game of Mastermind in which a user tries to break the code in the shortest time possible.  The six digit color coded sequence must be solved in a minimum of moves and time. After a request by Willi Kuche, the Apple ][ community came together and managed to come up with two versions of the source code for Glen Bredon’s Mr. Fixit for Prosel 8.  Being as no original source code was available, two people in particular disassembled the program and have posted their respective versions to the internet. Forty Columns site adds new graphics
