Late last night, Lee Fastenau announced a little Christmas present for the Apple II world in the Call-151 group: the Game Boy version of Tetris for the Apple II, complete with all of the original screens and the source code for the game as well. Jeremy Rand of Rand-Emonium Software has created a Wordle puzzle solver program for the Apple II. Wordle Solver offers a word and then takes input via a series of x, ? or ^ characters from the user to facilitate the next guess in the puzzle. The Witch Trial adventure game from Dan Henderson has been updated. The latest version of the game, version 1.1, was released to address some game play issues as well as some technical issues on the Apple IIc computer. Sean Bugler has released an updated version of the Ultima IV Remastered program. The version 1.2.6 release is a bug regression issue which apparently was introduced into the program in June 2021. The gold amount actually awarded to the player now matches the actual amount. Mario Patino, author of the TXTRIS text based Tetris clone, has released a new update to his game which is one of the entries for this years Apple II Software enthusiasts (A2SE) programming contest.
