HFS 1.04 Beta Announced

Petar Puskarich has announced the immediate availability of the latest beta 4 build of hfs.fst for GSOS.

This release FIXES many of the old corruption issues found over the years. Mount the .po file Drag the new hfs.fst to your System FSTS folder. INACTIVATE the old hfs.fst or remove it from the folder. Only one hfs.fst should be active at any given time or some odd things happen with format/erase and fst selection during subsequent mounts. I have been doing various test suites against this version for nearly 6 months now and have not found any fst specific issues. Found lot’s of OS/Finder/mass storage driver issues, but nothing FST related. The old corruption bugs do not seem to be present anymore and even some other odd remote edge case failures I’ve seen over the years do not seem to be present now either. GNO rm -r does NOT recurse properly with it, but it didn’t work with the original either.

ENJOY! Please send me any bugs you may find using it!
